Laurel was produced for Monocle by Antoine Maisondieu, perfumer of Comme des Garçons. Laurel is a representation of the scent and sensation during a stay with friends in Batroun, Lebanon. While many delicious aromas wafted through their century-old garden, it was the distinctive scent of Laurel that graced an early spring weekend in the eastern Mediterranean. Laurel is warm, inviting and sometimes a little sharp - just like the land itself.
